Rapper From Little Rock Club Shooting Arrested On Unrelated Charges

BIRMINGHAM, AL. (CelebrityAccess) A rapper whose concert in Little Rock became the scene of a mass shooting that left 28 people injured, was arrested on Sunday on unrelated charges outside of an Alabama nightclub where he was due to perform.

According to CBS News, Ricky Hampton, 25, of Memphis, Tennessee, also known professionally as Finese 2Tymes, was arrested by agents with the U.S. Marshals Service, the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, officials said.

Hampton was arrested on a fugitive from justice" warrant stemming from charges related to an alleged aggravated assault with a firearm in Forrest City in eastern Arkansas.

Federal agents recovered several firearms during the arrest which will be sent to a crime lab in Arkansas for comparison with shell casings left at the scene of the club shooting.

Law enforcement officials believe the shooting at Power Ultra Lounge in Little Rock on early Saturday morning that left 28 injured may be gang-related and connected with a recent series of drive-by shootings in the community, the Associated Press reported.
