Savage Garden Splits

Australian duo Savage Garden have called it quits after five years and 20 million album sales. Darren Hayes is pursuing a solo career while Daniel Jones has opted for a private life and has returned to his home in Brisbane.

The band hit the Australian music scene in 1996 and a year later won a record 10 ARIAs, the country's most prestigious music industry award.
