LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The initial two dates of Charlie Sheen's upcoming live tour "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option" reportedly sold out within 18 minutes of going onsale.
Sheen tweeted that the initial two dates are set for April 2 at the Fox Theatre Detroit and April 3 at the Chicago Theatre. Unnamed sources told TMZ.com that as many as 30 additional dates that may range as far afield as Australia, were potentially in the offing with announcements to be released on Sheen's Twitter feed.
The show, billed for 'mature audiences only' is described (apparently by Sheen himself) on Ticketmaster's show details section thusly:" "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option Show is coming for you. I'm going on the road. LIVE. Will there be surprises? Will there be guests? Will there be mayhem? Will you ask questions? Will you laugh? Will you scream? Will you know the truth? WILL THERE BE MORE?!?!? This IS where you will hear the REAL story from the Warlock. Bring it. I dare you to keep up with me."
Ticket prices range between $35 and $69.95 for both currently listed shows.
Meanwhile, Sheen's launched a $100 million lawsuit against his former boss, Chuck Lorre, Lorre's production company, and Warner Bros, seeking damages over his firing from the CBS sitcom " Two and a Half Men." – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
