LONDON (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation has promoted Steven Todd to the post of Managing Director of Concerts for Central and Eastern Europe.
According to Music Week, Todd will be responsible for Live Nation's operations in Poland, Hungary, The Czech Republic and other markets in the region.
Prior to his promotion, Todd served as the head of Live Nation's operations in Poland.
John Reid, President of Concerts at Live Nation Europe, said: “We have exciting plans for live music and festivals in Central and Eastern Europe, so I am delighted that an executive of Steve’s calibre will lead this strategy. ”
Todd is replacing Tim Dowdell, who was overseeing the unit when Live Nation's Croatian partner Adria Entertainment imploded last summer.
A press release by Live Nation stated that Dowdall would be supporting the management strategy and handover.
“I would to thank Tim for his contribution over recent years, and his help in our growth strategy in this region. We look forward to continuing our push into new markets in the future,” Reid added. – Staff Writers
