LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — T-Pain, the two-time Grammy award winning artists, has signed with ICM Partners where Caroline Yim and Scott Mantell will represent him in all areas.
T-Pain, the Tallahassee born singer-songwriter, rapper, record producer and actor, best known for hits like “I’m Sprung”, “Buy You A Drank”, “Can’t Believe It” and “Bartender”, is often credited for popularizing the distinctive auto-tune pitch correction that became a defining sound in pop music in the mid 2000s.
The first single from T-Pain's forthcoming album, “Up Down (Do This All Day)”, produced by DJ Mustard and featuring B.O.B., has reached top 10 on the US and UK charts and continues to climb. The album will be released through his label, Nappy Boy, which has distribution through Akon’s Konvict Muzik/RCA Records.
