Taylor Swift's Red Tour One For The Record Books

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — With the closing of her "Red" tour, Taylor Swift has smashed the all-time revenue record for a single tour by a country artist, grossing more than 150 million over the span of the 15 month tour.

According to Billboard’s Boxscore archives, Swift's red puts her ahead of other touring country artists, including Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Soul2Soul tour in 2006 & 2007, which cleared $141 million.

The "Red Tour" kicked off in March 2013, in Omaha, Nebraska, and included 86 dates in 12 countries before the final curtain. All told, the tour grossed $150,184,971 in revenue from 1,702,933 tickets sold.

Highlights of the tour included two performances at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass, which generated $9.4 million in sales from 110,712 and a $4.7 million sellout at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh on July 6th, Billboard reported. – Staff Writers
