Ticketmaster-dot-com will host a tribute
auction to benefit former Billboard editor and music journalist Timothy White in
connection with the Music To My Ears tribute concerts scheduled for October 7
at
Boston's FleetCenter on October 8 at New
York's Madison
Square Garden. White suffered a fatal heart attack on June 27,
2002. Among those performing are Jimmy Buffett, Sheryl Crow, Don
Henley, Billy
Joel, John Mellencamp, Sting, James Taylor and Brian Wilson.
Featured auctions items include three autographed Fender

guitars signed by all participating artists of Music to My
Ears, a Tribute
to Timothy White, and an autographed Martin guitar Alternative
III® Martin
guitar signed by all participating artists. Additional auction

include front row tickets and an autographed poster signed by
