Disney's 'Tomorrowland' posted an estimated $26.7 million in its opening weekend of international release from 65 territories representing approximately 56% of the international marketplace.
Meanwhile, Universal's 'Pitch Perfect 2' opened in eight new territories and the weekend estimate is $15.2 million in 37 territories for a total of $61.7 million and Fox's Melissa McCarthy action comedy 'Spy' opened early in the Asia/Pacific region this weekend, capturing $12.5 million from 1,772 screens in 10 markets with North America and 52 International markets opening the weekend of June 5.
Warner Bros.' 'Mad Max: Fury Road' crossed the $100 million mark internationally this weekend bringing its worldwide total to $212 million."
