Two Hurt At ZZ Top Concert


FAYETTEVILLE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The hundreds of thousands of bikers who called Northwest Arkansas their home during Bikes, Blues & BBQ were all but gone by Sunday morning, but the remnants of the rally were certainly not.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported that a man was stabbed Friday night following a concert associated with the Bikes, Blues & BBQ motorcycle rally, according to a news release from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville police.

UAPD wouldn’t identify the man who was stabbed, his condition, or the suspect.

The stabbing occurred about 10:30 p.m. following a ZZ Top concert at UA’s Randal Tyson Track Center, according to the release.

A witness told police that the victim got into a dispute with another man during the concert and that the dispute appeared to be resolved the release states.

As the victim was leaving the concert, however, the man attacked him with a knife, stabbing him in the abdomen and slightly wounded a second person on the hand, according to the release. The suspect then fled.

The victim was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville and underwent surgery, the release states.
