LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — U2's upcoming Joshua Tree Tour appears to be a hit with the punters and promoter Live Nation announced that all of the tour's European dates sold out in just a few hours of going on sale.
In response, the band added additional shows at London's Twickenham Stadium on July 9th; at Rome’s Olympic Stadium on July 16th; at Paris's Stade de France on July 26th; and at the Amsterdam Arena in (unsurprisingly) Amsterdam on July 30th.
The show has been selling in the U.S. as well and while tickets just went on sale on Tuesday, Live Nation has already added a second night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on June 29th.
The tour, announced last week, will see U2 perform their seminal album Joshua Tree in its entirety. The Lumineers will provide support for the tour. – Staff Writers
