LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Van Halen has quietly changed the status of their postponed tourdates from to be announced to canceled.
The dates, which add up to more than 30 all told, were initially postponed in May. The blogosphere was redolent with rumors that the canceled dates were due to tension in the band, but the group took pains to try to quash those rumors, with Eddie Van Halen saying earlier this month that they had "bit off more than we could chew" with the tour.
After the band's final date last night, Wolfgang Van Halen tweeted: "Thanks everyone for such an incredible tour! It’s been a wonderful experience. You guys are the best!”
Despite the cancelation, the band still seems on track for their November tour in Japan. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
