ORANGE, CA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — New label Music Inc. Sounds is teaming up with Rock Ridge Music in a partnership deal where its releases will be distributed through Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), Rock Ridge’s distributor.
In addition to Music Inc. CEO Vince Pileggi, a two -person A&R staff will be scouting for new talent for the label: Angie Dunn, the co-owner in Lucky Artist Booking with Pileggi,;and Sean Striegel, talent buyer at the House of Blues. Pileggi is a long-time music industry veteran with involvement in: band management (long-time manager for Reel Big Fish and co-manager of Fiore), booking (River City High, Self Against City, Streetlight Manifesto, The Matches), and merchandise, among other avenues.
"As a manager, I was never a fan of labels," says Pileggi, "but Rock Ridge Music principal Tom Derr knows the new business model and can really make it work. We plan to take baby steps, and, who knows, we might even sign children’s artists."

Music Inc. Sounds is currently seeking bands for licensing deals, and the label will be based around music “we passionately believe in, fair contracts, team work and artist development," says Pileggi. In addition to offering bands a label home and national distribution, Music Inc. Sounds is also capable of providing bands with one-stop shopping with the many tools available via the companies that fall under the larger Music Inc. umbrella: label (Music Inc. Sounds), booking (Lucky Artis Booking), merchandising (Merch House), merchandise fulfillment (Merch Sales), management (Music Inc. Management), musical equipment (Music Inc. Pro Shop), studio (Music Inc. Recording), rehearsal space (Music Inc.
