VINELAND, NJ (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Organizers for the proposed Vineland Music Festival have pulled the plug and are instead, turning their attention to organizing the event to take place in 2009.
We wanted to move forward with this thing, but that weekend is not ideal
"We wanted to move forward with this thing, but that weekend is not idea.l" C3's Charles Attal told the Daily Journal.
Attal told the paper that the recent announcement of Coachella oranizer Goldenvoice's new festival in Liberty Park for the same weekend combined with several major amphitheater shows slated for nearby on that same weekend precipitated the decision to call it off.
"Taking that into effect, there are a lot of ticket buyers that are going to be taken out of the market," Attal told the Journal "If we do it right, I think anyone who is opposed to it will come around."
This was to be the year the 3-day festival premiered and had been planned for a 570 acre farm in Vineland, NJ. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
