CAA Signs Deep Throat

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — The man recently identified as the Watergate scandal's mysterious "Deep Throat," Mark Felt, has reportedly signed with Creative Artists Agency.

The signing actually includes more than just Felt, however. The family, including his daughter who told reporters that the family decided to come clean for possible profit, as well as attorney John O'Conner, who broke the story for Vanity Fair, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The family signed with the powerful Hollywood agency in search of movie or television deals regarding the story. Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward, who's book All The President's Men first attracted the nation's attention to "Deep Throat," has also reportedly been working on the story once again, with possible Hollywood hopes.

Mark Felt was the deputy director of the FBI during the Watergate investigation. The information that he leaked to Woodward and fellow Post reporter Carl Bernstein, helped pave the way for former U.S. President Richard Nixon's resignation in 1974. –by CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
