Young The Giant Announces New Dates, New Music

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) Young The Giant has announced it is expanding its tour into November, along with the announcement of its first new song since 2016.

“Simplify,” produced by Alex Salibian (aka producer and musical director of Harry Styles’ band) is Young The Giant’s first new music since the release of the album Home of the Strange two years ago and is already available for streaming. Meanwhile, the band has announced new dates starting Oct. 25 in Grand Rapids, Mich., with LIGHTS in support. The tour wraps at Washington, D.C.’s Anthem Nov. 16.

“Everything in modern life is complicated,” explains lead singer Sameer Gadhia. “Each decision divides into possible alternatives, reflections multiplying within themselves endlessly, like a room of a thousand mirrors. We construct images of how life should be lived: how to act, dress, tweet, and vote, and often times it is easy to lose your true self to the images we create for all to see. But love is simple, and to love someone is to love all of humanity. It is the closest thing to truth, and even though love can be compromising, painful, and exhausting, we can only see our truest selves in the eyes of another. This is the essence of ‘Simplify.’”
