TORONTO (CelebrityAccess) — ) Canadian country-rockers The Sadies announced that they are hitting the road for an extensive tour of North America.
The tour kicks off on Sept. 21st at Neat Coffee Shop in Burnstown, ON, and runs through Nov. 12 when the Sadies perform at the West End Cultural Centre in Winnpeg.
The Sadies will be supported on the outing by the Halifax-based psychedelic rock outfit Walrus.
Then, early next year, the Sadies are also planning a 24-date run that includes back-to-back shows at Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. The 2019 tour will feature American indie-rockers Kurt Vile & The Violators as support.
The Sadies are touring in support of their most recent album “Northern Passages” which they released in 2017 via Dine Alone Records (Canada) and Yep Roc Records (US). Additionally, the group is currently working on material recorded with their late friend and collaborator Gord Downie, frontman of the Tragically Hip.
