Aerosmith Bags On Two More Dates

NORTH CAROLINA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Aerosmith has been forced to postpone to additional shows on their tour with ZZ Top, after the band's 61-year-old frontman Steve Tyler reportedly pulled a leg muscle. The band had previously scrapped gigs in Cincinnati on July 1st, Hershey, PA on July 3rd and Virginia Beach on July 5th.

The latest canceled dates are July 7th at the Time-Warner Cable Music Pavilion at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC and the July 9th date slated for the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre in nearby Charlotte, N.C.

The tour has been plagued by injuries and the band's 57-year-old guitarist Brad Whitford was forced to miss the first half of the tour after he underwent surgery connected to a head injury he sustained from his Ferrari. Brad is reportedly ready to re-join the tour as soon as they start up again.

Aerosmith has been on the road with rock icons ZZ Top on their "Guitar Hero" tour and will continue to do dates throughout the US and Canada before winding down on September 16 at Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, MI. Tickets for the rescheduled dates will be honored but as of yet, no word on when said dates might be. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
