ArenaNetwork Adds Theaters

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — North American arena booking association ArenaNetwork has announced the launch of a new division focused on independently owned and operated theaters in the 2,000-4,000 capacity range.

“The ArenaNetwork staff and our Executive Committee felt that we could use the daily contact we have with agents, promoters, and producers of live events to expand into the theater space as well,” said ArenaNetwork CEO Ed Rubinstein. “In the last month we’ve added theaters in Atlanta, Chicago, Ft. Lauderdale and Greenville, South Carolina.”

TheaterNetwork will officially launch in January 2015 but has already started working with partner venues. Membership currently consists of theaters in Atlanta, Champaign, Chicago, Detroit, Ft. Lauderdale, Greenville, Norfolk, Spokane, St. Louis, St. Paul, and Winnipeg.

“We plan on limiting membership to 20 theaters in the first year,” added Rubinstein.

The new division will operate out of ArenaNetwork's current offices in Los Angeles.
