Brauner Joins The Agency Group

NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) – The Agency Group has hired veteran music agent Joe Brauner to oversee the agency's US Performing Arts Center Division. Brauner, who has been named as a vice president at the agency, will be based out of TAG's New York office.

Brauner brings with a roster that includes Grammy Award-winner Norah Jones, Celtic rock band The Waterboys, folktronica artist Beth Orton, soul-singer Curtis Harding, and other notable performers.

Brauner began his 30+ year long career at Venture Bookings in 1983 where he worked with bands like 10,000 Maniacs, The Pogues, and Soul Asylum. In 1988 he moved on to the Agency for the Performing Arts representing Bela Fleck and The Flecktones, Grover Washington, Jr., Wynton and Branford Marsalis, and others. Brauner left APA to co-found Monterey International’s New York operations and, subsequently, co-founded the New York office of Creative Artists Agency, prior to joining William Morris in 2012 where he worked until joining The Agency Group.

"We are thrilled to have Joe join our team as head of our Performing Arts Division,” states Natalia Nastaskin, CEO of U.S. Operations at The Agency Group. “Joe brings with him not only a stellar roster of artists and an exemplary work ethic, but also a wealth of relationships and industry expertise that is second to none. We look forward to the exponential growth of our PAC department under Joe’s leadership.” – Staff Writers
