Clear Channel Entertainment has launched their office in Hong Kong to produce and present live entertainment in Hong Kong and other countries across Asia and the Pacific Rim. The company is a subsidiary of Clear Channel Entertainment and its ultimate parent company, Clear Channel Communications Inc.
The office will serve as a base for a multitude of promotional activities with both local and international artists. They anticipate to deliver 15-20 tours in its first operational year and will mark the first steps to create content in the emerging Asia and Pacific Rim market, bringing music entertainment to a potential audience of 100,000,000.
Colleen Ironside, senior vice president, Pan Asia Booking, will be responsible for booking international and local artists for live performances across the Asia Pacific region. “The experience gathered over the years, working on a number of high profile world tours will be an asset in my new challenge to bring live entertainment to such a burgeoning market," she said.
