Dispute Scraps Limp Bizkit Show

LAS VEGAS (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Rockers Limp Bizkit will not be performing at the UFC100 mixed martial arts event planned for Las Vegas on July 10th.

According to a post on the band's website, the cancellation resulted from a dispute between UFC and the band's label, Interscope who the band claims could not come to terms on certain DVD rights.

The band contends that the UFC were also unhappy with their decision to shift the gig from the Beach at Mandalay Bay to a more traditional concert venue, also located at Mandalay.

The band has also called UFC to task for their promotional efforts, stating "First, LB would like to confirm we are HUGE UFC fans and will always be, but feel it is unfair for UFC to falsely confirm and advertise that Limp Bizkit will be performing to only change their minds after many people have rearranged their lives and bought tickets to be in Vegas for this special concert."

Las Vegas Limp Bizkit fans aren't completely out of luck and the band has announced that they will be playing at another gig in sin city on the same night – details forthcoming. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
