TUCSON, AZ (CelebrityAccess News Service) – Cal Productions announces that David Budin has been hired as a Talent Buyer. He started in his new position on December 11, 2003.
David Budin is a native of Kansas City and has previously been employed by the concerts division of Clear Channel Entertainment in Washington, DC and Philadelphia, PA where he worked in the concert booking departments.
Prior to working for Clear Channel Entertainment, Mr. Budin was the senior talent buyer for Metro/Smart Bar, a popular nightclub in Chicago, IL. Metro/Smart Bar has been nominated as nightclub of the year many times by industry magazines.
Mr. Budin got his start in the concert business in 1996 working as a talent buyer for Monqui Presents, an independent promoter based in Portland, OR. In Portland, Mr. Budin worked with Anthony Rhodes, then the senior talent buyer at Monqui.
Coming to Cal Productions reunites Mr. Budin and Mr. Rhodes where they will be sharing the exclusive booking responsibilities for the City Limits nightclub in Tucson, AZ. Mr. Budin will also be assisting in the booking of Sunset Station in San Antonio, TX and doing club and theatre buying in Phoenix, AZ and Albuquerque, NM.
