Industry Vets Form World Audience

(CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Industry executives Larry Jacobson and Robert "Berko" Webber have formed World Audience, a punk/rock/metal artist management company, based in Santa Monica, CA.

Jacobson is a former Capitol Records Sr. VP and Giant Records General Manager and founder of the Larry Jacobson Company. Webber is a former Maverick and Giant Records A&R exec.

Rounding out the World Audience team is Evan Baken, former drummer for punk act, The Movielife. Baken is director of artist management and handles day-to-day management duties for the company's artists.

World Audience currently represents Avenged Sevenfold (Hopeless/Warner Brothers Records) and Moments in Grace (Salad Days/Atlantic Records) as well as their latest signing, punk rockers Hot Water Music (Epitaph). Webber also brings producer Mudrock (Godsmack, Avenged Sevenfold, Eighteen Visions) into the World Audience fold. — Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner
