Jonas Brothers Tour Shakeup

LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — Live Nation appears to have given the tour itinerary of the The Jonas Brother a significant makeover, adding a selection of dates in some markets and pulling or rerouting at least 17 dates from the band's summer outing.

According to Live Nation, the changes resulted from the addition of a spate of international dates to the end of the tour in late October and November. The start of the tour has been pushed back by two weeks as well, starting now on August 7th instead of late July, as had been previously scheduled.

Markets seeing new dates include Holmdel, NJ on August 17, Boston on August 26th, Atlantic City on August 28, and Toronto on September 3rd.

Several dates have been re-routed with a show that had been formerly on the books for Milwaukee on September 7 now set for the Cruzan Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, a September 8 Minneapolis show moved to the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheater in Tampa and the Sept 19th show for the Sleep Train in Concord now heading to the Verizon Wireless in Irvine.

A number of other dates have been outright killed, including Omaha (9/9), Vancouver (9/15), Fresno (9/29) Oklahoma City (9/29), Little Rock (9/30), New Orleans (10/6), Orlando (10/12), Atlanta (10/14) Nashville (10/15) Raleigh N.C. (10/16) and Charlotte, N.C. on (10/17)

"Recent changes in the Jonas Brothers schedule and the addition of the several international tour markets have shifted the previously announced routing for 2010." Live Nation said about the schedule changes. "Some previously announced North American Live In Concert tour shows are no longer on the 2010 routing, however the Jonas Brothers will look to return to these markets as soon as possible."

Other additions to the tour includethe aforementioned spin through central and south America. The new leg will kick off on October 21st in Monterrey Mexico and wind down on November 9th in Porto Alegre, Brazil. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
