JVC is continuing its sponsorship of the JVC Jazz Festival for the 22nd year. The 2005 JVC Jazz Festival will run from June through October 2005 and feature a diverse musical mix from performers appearing in nine cities throughout the U.S. and around the world.
This year’s JVC Jazz Festival includes New York (June 14-25), Newport, RI (August 11-14), Miami Beach (June 1-5), Los Angeles (Hollywood Bowl–August 21) , Concord, CA (August 20), Chicago (July 21-23), Paris (October 14-24), The Hague (July 8-10) and Warsaw (October 28-29).
The JVC Jazz Festival made its debut in 1984 when JVC teamed up with jazz impresario George Wein’s Festival Productions, Inc., to create an event that for more than 20 years has been a driving force behind the growing popularity of jazz around the world.
