LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Singer Kate Bush has wrapped up the last in of her 22-concert residency at London's Hammersmith Apollo, hinting that a subsequent tour might not be in the offing, at least in the near future.
"We're all really sad as it's the last night," Bush reportedly told the audience during her final performance. "I'm going to miss everyone so much."
All told, Bush sold more than 78,000 tickets during her five week residency and saw a strong resurgance in her album sales. The 22 performances were Bush's first after a 35-year hiatus from the stage.
A followup tour would seem to be the natural choice for the 56-year-old performer after her successful stint at the Hammersmith but as of yet, there has been no announcement and Bush noted during her final show that it might be "a while" before she appears on stage again. – Staff Writers
