NEW ORLEANS (CelebrityAccess) — Singer-songwriter Lauryn Hill posted 45 minutes late, not once, but twice during the Voodoo Experience music festival in New Orleans.
Hill was scheduled to perform on the main stage at the festival on Saturday night but arrived 45 minutes late, the The Times-Picayune, and after running over the remaining 30 minutes of her time slot while finishing "Ready or Not", festival organizers cut her mic. Hill kept singing, while Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" was played over the P.A.
Organizers later gave her a second appearance in the final hour of the festival on Saturday, on a much smaller stage and true to form, Hill reportedly showed up 45 minutes late again. However, this time, she was allowed to keep singing after the festival closed at 11pm. – Staff Writers
