MALAWI, Africa (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) – Madonna has cleared up press rumors that she and husband director Guy Ritchie are planning to adopt a child: They’re actually planning to adopt an entire African village.
The pop superstar has been reportedly in talks with African adoption agencies for the past few months, and supposedly seeking the advice of veteran adopters Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.
In a statement released last week, Madonna’s spokesperson stated, “She is adopting a village of children…Madonna is participating in the building of a school and home for hundreds of kids in Malawi, Africa, and that is her current passion and commitment.”
