LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Grammy award-winning artist Colombian artist Shakira announced that she's hitting the road for a major tour later this year, with dates set for Europe and the U.S.
Produced by Live Nation, the first leg of Shakira's El Dorado World Tour kicks off on Nov 8th at Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany and runs through Dec. 4th when the "Hips Don't Lie" singer performs at Hallenstadion in Zurich, Switzerland.
Then, in the new year, Shakira heads to the U.S. for the second segment of the tour, with dates starting on Jan 9th at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida and wrapping on Feb 10th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Shakira's touring in support of her 11th studio album, "El Dorado" which hit #1 on iTunes in 37 countries and held 5 of the top 10 spots on the iTunes Latino Chart within hours of its release. The album has already been certified 5x platinum and includes hits "La Bicicleta," "Chantaje," "Déjà vu," and "Me Enamoré" which currently commands Billboard's Top Latin Pop Songs chart.
The tour is sponsored by Japanese e-commerce and digital content giant Rakuten Inc.
