PHILADELPHIA (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — On January 27th, The Philadelphia Orchestra performed at a gala white-tie concert held at Academy of Music, the "Grand Old Lady of Locust Street"
The concert featured the Philadelphia Orchestra or "Fabulous Philadelphians" along with opera stars, Deborah Voigt and Ben Heppner as well as more contemporary performances by Rod Stewart and showtunes by John Lithgow.
After the concert, guests attended a white-tie ball which included a champagne supper and dancing. Proceeds from the benefit were donated to the Academy of Music Restoration Fund and The Philadelphia Orchestra Association. – CelebrityAccess Staff Writers
