NEW YORK (AP) — Three industry veterans, Derek Becker, Nicole Yalaz and John Bohannon have joined together to launch a new agency, The Strange Victory Touring Company.
Becker is a Windish alum, while Yalaz served as a publicist for Drag Records and took a turn as a tour manager and booking agent for artists on the label. John Bohannon is a touring artist in his own right, since 2005 and founded the label Electric Temple in 2009.
"We want to put an end to hunger," Is the credo adopted by Strange Victory, "starting with ours. The line forms behind us, 'Silver Jews'!"
Strange Victory Touring is a partnership with Drag City Records and will maintain offices in both New York and Chi-town.
