TM Inks MultiYear Deal With Greensboro Coliseum Complex

GREENSBORO, NC (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) —
Ticketmaster has signed a multi-year agreement with the Greensboro Coliseum Complex where Ticketmaster will serve as the exclusive authorized ticketing company for the complex's various venues.

Ticketmaster will begin selling tickets on July 1 for the more than 850 annual events hosted at the Greensboro Coliseum, Special Events Center, Pavilion and War Memorial Auditorium including Monster Jam, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice, The Triad Best of Broadway Series, the Greensboro Symphony Orchestra and many national recording artist concerts.

Ticketmaster will also install its state-of-the-art access control system at the complex's various venues in addition to working with the complex staff to implement Ticketmaster's marketing products and promotional programs.

"We evaluated various ticketing providers and Ticketmaster presented the most comprehensive proposal," said Matt Brown, managing director of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex. "We were particularly impressed with their capabilities in the areas of e-commerce and how we will be able to more effectively promote our events through e-blasts and other cutting- edge marketing techniques. Ticketmaster offers the technology to drive our business forward as we continue to bring a variety of exciting events to the city of Greensboro and we continue to serve as a central facility for entertainment and community functions."

"The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is one of the premier venues in the Southeastern United States and Ticketmaster is honored to be selected to provide the facilities and their guests with premier ticketing services," said Jared Smith, general manager, Ticketmaster Carolinas. "We look forward to working with the Complex as their exclusive ticketing company to help drive their ticketing business as they introduce many new and exciting programs for their acts and patrons." — Bob Grossweiner and Jane Cohen
