MIAMI (CelebrityAccess) — Organizers of the Ultra Music Festival used the festival's main stage at their flagship festival in Miami this year as a platform to reveal their international expansion plans.
According to Billboard, Damian Pinto, aka “The Voice of Ultra,” told the crowd that the festival had plans to launch editions of the festival in Australia.
“Ultra Music Festival, the global expansion is real,” Pinto said, per Billboard. “We're moving to Australia. Give it up for our Aussie fans.”
As well, the festival announced plans to add dates in India as well. While a schedule was not disclosed, organizers said they were planning two new festivals in New Delhi and Mumbai.
These new expansions mark Ultra's fifth continent and 18th country in its 19 years.
