(CelebrityAccess) — Atlanta-based rapper Trippie Redd has reportedly pulled out of his supporting slot on Travis Scott’s Astroworld Tour over apparent production issues.
According to TMZ, sources close to Trippie Redd, whose real name is Michael White, said the rapper became frustrated with production delays due to Scott’s elaborate stage production. Per TMZ, delays in assembling the stage were leading to pushed back start times for shows and reduced stage time for Trippie.
Per TMZ, Trippie Redd was not frustrated with Travis himself, but the situation and did not feel it was not worth touring in order to perform a couple of songs.
He was a no-show for Tuesday’s performance in Detroit and, at least according to TMZ, will not make the scene for the remaining dates on the tour.
Trippie Redd was supporting his freshman album Life’s A Trip, which was released in August by TenThousand Projects and Caroline Distribution. The album, which features guest appearances from Young Thug, Reese Laflare and Diplo, as well as Travis Scott, debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200.
