DUBAI (VIP-BOOKING) — It turns out that Ed Sheeran has some fans in the Middle East.
The British singer graced Dubai with two remarkable performances on January 19 and 20, turning the shows into Dubai`s largest-ever open-air concerts. These back-to-back events marked Sheeran`s first appearances in the Middle East since 2017, and the anticipation had been building since the tickets went on sale in November.
Hosted by All Things Live and AEG Presents, with support from Dubai Calendar and Coca-Cola Arena, both concerts unfolded at the Sevens Stadium, enchanting a massive audience of over 60,000 fans. The popstar showcased his musical prowess with his signature in-the-round format, featuring a 360-degree central stage.
Notably, Thomas Ovesen from All Things Live Middle East presented Ed Sheeran with a trophy. The trophy was a testament to Sheeran`s accomplishment of selling out two shows this time (compared to one night in 2017) and achieving the status of having the best-selling concert in the history of the UAE.
