Eventbrite Pares Losses In Q4 And FY2024

SAN FRANCISCO (CelebrityAccess) — Ticketing and event management platform Eventbrite reported a significant bump in revenue, but still recorded a net loss for both the fourth quarter and full fiscal year of 2023.

According to Eventbrite, the company recorded net revenue of $87.8 million, in the fourth quarter, up 23% year over year. Total free and paid ticket volume of 70.6 million tickets across 1.4 million events, whole gross margins edged up by 4% to 70.1% in Q4 2023.

During the quarter, Eventbrite recorded an EBITDA of $8.8 million, which includes $1.1 million of restructuring and other charges and an adjusted EBITDA margin of 10.1%.

For the full fiscal year of 2023, Eventbrite reported net revenue of $326.1 million, up 25% year over year. During that period, they sold 302 million free and paid tickets across 5.2 million events.

For the full fiscal year, Eventbrite pared losses from 2022, reporting a shortfall of $26.5 million during 2023 compared to a loss of $55.4 in 2022.
