LOS ANGLES (CelebrityAccess) — Rick Mueller has resigned as President of AEG Presents, effective immediately, concluding his 13-year tenure with the event promoter.
In a memo dated May 8, Mueller informed Jay Marciano of his decision to leave, expressing gratitude for his experiences and the relationships he`s fostered at AEG Presents.
“I am certain this news will be a surprise to most but I would like to share that I have informed Jay Marciano that I am leaving AEG Presents, effective today. I have loved my time at this amazing company and the relationships I have built with all of you, but I’ve made the decision to step away in order to pursue other interests in my life. It’s been an honor to be a part of the team that has grown AEG into such a strong company during my 13 years here, and I’ll be rooting with pride as AEG continues to roll out incredible shows, tours, venues, and festivals.
Before joining AEG, Mueller held the position of president at Live Nation California.
