NASHVILLE, TN (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation is expanding their already significant footprint in Nashville after signing an agreement to take over booking and operations at The Carl Black Chevy Woods Amphitheater at Fontanel.
According to the Tennessean, Live Nation will assume control over the 4,500-capacity amphitheater from AEG, whose three-year contract with the Fontanel expired this year.
"We busted our tails out there, and we're proud of what we accomplished out there," AEG Live Senior Vice President Ali Harnell told The Tennessean. "We love The Woods and will continue to work with LN and the owners to bring great shows and events to Nashville."
The addition of The Woods makes Live Nation a dominating presence in the amphitheater business in Nashville. The company also operates the 6,800 Ascend Amphitheater in the market.
Upcoming shows at The Woods, include the three-day Music City Jazz Fest in June, 2016. – Staff Writers
