PERTH, Scotland (CelebrityAccess) — The Jacksons, OMD, Kool & The Gang, The Gypsy Kings and Billy Ocean are among the headliners announced for the 2018 edition of the Rewind Festivals.
Taking place in three different locations, the retro, ’80s-themed music festivals will celebrate their 10th anniversary in 2018. The festivals will take place at Scotland’s Scone Palace, Perthshire on July 20-22, Rewind North at Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire from August 3-5 and Rewind South at Henley-on-Thames from August 17-19.
Other artists on the bill for the retro-fest include Shalamar, Midge Ure, Chesney Hawkes, Odyssey, Billy Ocean, Howard Jones, The Orchestra Starring ELO former members, From The Jam, Jimmy Somerville and The Rewind Big Band, Heaven 17, Roland Gift, T’Pau, Wang Chung, Doctor & The Medics, Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, Paul Carrack, China Crisis, Roachford and Neville Staple.
Organiser Katt Alexander said: “The Rewind team are really excited to stage the 10th edition of the festival with our fantastic crowd.”
The festival is run by The Rival Organisation and Into The Groove and was first held in 2009 after the success of a series of one-off 1980s retro shows in 2008.
