EP founders Robert “Robeo” Eleazer and Tony Perez, have tasked Zamora with developing the company’s Latin entertainment roster, in addition to overseeing cross-genre opportunities for current clients, which include songwriter Sebastian Kole, recording artist Dylan Hyde, and Canadian singer/songwriter Alessia Cara (EP/Def Jam).
Zamora has previously held positions as music producer for the Latin American Music Awards and executive roles in management at NBC/Universal and BMG. He is also currently a board governor for the Florida Chapter of the Recording Academy.
“When we met Angel, we realized he was the ideal person to create and execute the company’s Latin entertainment strategy,” said Eleazner. “We want to create diverse opportunities for our roster in all of the Americas and we know that his longstanding contacts, experience and strategy drives results.”
“I’m excited to join EP and help them develop their brand within the Latin music and entertainment community,” added Zamora. “EP is about developing vital new talent that reaches audiences across generations, language and countries. The power is the music and EP has proven that they know how to develop that.”
Founded in 2011, EP Entertainment operates in partnership with Capitol Music Group/Universal Music Group.
