OWENSBORO, Ky. (CelebrityAccess) The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum has announced details of its new home, which is expected to open this fall in Owensboro, Ky.

The $15 million facility is expected to open with three days of celebration Oct. 18-20, focusing on music that highlights the past, present and future of bluegrass.

The first event on Oct. 18 is a private show – the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Hall of Fame induction ceremony to take place at the brand-new Woodward Theatre. The induction class is Vassar Clements, Mike Seeger, Jake Tullock, Allen Shelton, and Joe Val

Sam Bush plays the next night in an already-sold-out concert.

The third day, Saturday, will feature public tours of the facility, and free concerts all day at the museum’s outdoor stage. The “Downtown ROMP” will feature Yonder Mountain String Band, High Fidelity, Front Country, and Town Mountain with an anticipated crowd of 1,500.
