SAN JOSE, CA (CelebrityAccess) — Electronic label pioneers Astralwerks announced a partnership with popular Twitch streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins to curate a branded album entitled Ninjawerks.

The album, which was announced at the gaming convention TwitchCon, will feature songs from major electronic artists and will be available in digital, CD and vinyl formats.

The Ninjawerks brand will also be extended to a range of merch, accessories and original artwork.

Blevins, who plays games on Twitch for a streaming audience, has grown to become the most popular content creator on the Twitch platform. As well, he has amassed 19 million subscribers on YouTube, and 11 million followers on Instagram, and appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated.

In recent months, the 27-year-old Blevins participated in several high profile pairings, playing games on stream with artists such as Marshmello, Dillon Francis, and Drake.

“I’m stoked about this project, first because I truly love the music, but also because I think this is another big step towards bridging the gap between music artists and gamers,” said Blevins. “Our worlds keep getting more and more connected, and this feels like the next step — hopefully this can become the soundtrack to gaming. It’s also amazing to partner with Astralwerks and Capitol Music Group, because they bring so much credibility to the album. I mean. Come on. Get your ears ready.”
