ORLANDO, Fla. (CelebrityAccess) The Spectra-managed CFE Arena, located on the campus of the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, will undergo a makeover this spring as the venue changes its name to Addition Financial Arena.
This change is part of a rebranding of the Lake Mary, Fla.-based CFE Federal Credit Union, which owns the naming rights to CFE Arena. The credit union will change its name to Addition Financial May 1 in an effort to expand throughout the region.
“We are pleased to continue our partnership with the University of Central Florida and the CFE Arena as we transition our name to Addition Financial. Under our new name, we will remain dedicated to our heritage in education, and will proudly serve the university in the years to come,” said Kevin Miller, CFE’s President and CEO.
CFE Arena will officially change its name to Addition Financial Arena on May 1 as well. Installation of new signage has already begun.
“Although the building is undergoing a big change with its name, our commitment to bringing world-class event experiences to the greater Orlando community remains as steady as ever,” says Spectra’s Joe Imbriaco, General Manager of CFE Arena.
The venue will also be launching a brand-new website to coincide with its name change, www.AdditionFiArena.com, which is set to launch on May 1.
