LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Veteran booking agent David Klein has joined United Talent Agency's music "leadership team" after more than a decade at rival agency CAA. Klein will be based out of UTA's Los Angeles offices, the company said.
While at CAA, Klein worked with such talent as OneRepublic, Tori Kelly, Lana Del Rey, Gavin DeGraw, Dua Lipa, Jimmy Fallon, Hailee Steinfeld, Alex Aiono, Noah Cyrus, Atlas Genius, Midnight Oil, Neon Trees, Lifehouse, William Singe, Jack Savoretti, among others.
UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer said, “Dave has many amazing qualities not least of which is his love of music. He is a passionate advocate and that is what artists want in today’s rapidly changing landscape. Beyond that, he has great industry relationships and will be a great teammate and colleague.”
A native New Yorker, Klein began his career as an independent concert promoter and then at Electric Factory Concerts in Philadelphia before joining CAA in 2005.
Klein graduated from the University of Wisconsin—Madison with a B.A. in English.
