The City of Hope has selected six recipients for the 2002 Spirit of Life Award to be
presented October 17 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, CA. The honorees are
all leaders in the film music industry:
Burt Berman, president of the music division of Paramount Pictures; Robert Kraft,
president of Fox Music Inc.; Gary LeMel, president of worldwide music for Warner
Bros. Pictures; Chris Montan, president of Walt Disney Music; Kathy Nelson,
president of film music for Universal Music Group and Universal Pictures; and Lia
Vollack, executive VP of music for Sony Pictures.
