Duran Duran And Kasabian Win O2 Silver Clef Awards

LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Duran Duran and Kasabian have been named as recipients for the 2015 O2 Silver Clef Awards.

Duran Duran have been selected as the recipients of the Spotify Lifetime Achievement Award, marking their long career which saw them sell more than 120 million records worldwide.

The band, featuring Simon Le Bon, Roger Taylor, Nick Rhodes and John Taylor, will collect their award at youth charity Nordoff Robbins' annual O2 Silver Clef Lunch at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on July 3.

Kasabian has been named as the recipient of Royal Albert Hall Best Band Award.

Other winners already announced for the this year's event include James Bay, Jake Bugg, Rita Ora, Mark Ronson, Primal Scream, Il Divo and Iron Maiden.

The awards support Nordoff Robbins' music therapy work and has raised more than £8.5 million for the charity since it was launched in 1976. – Staff Writers
