imeem Adds iPhone App

SAN MATEO, CA (Hypebot) –
Struggling but far from out of business social music network imeem has just launched a free iPhone application.

Available on the Apple App Store, imeem Mobile joins the growing list of applications that enable music discovery, play and purchase on mobile devices. With imeem's new app, fans can create custom stations based on favorite artists, discover music through personalized recommendations and download songs from iTunes directly onto their iPhone or iPod touch.

imeem Mobile also includes MyMusic, for those with large music collections.

Fans can upload up to 20,000 songs of the music they own directly to imeem and then play them whenever they want without taking up additional storage on their mobile device.

imeem Mobile includes features that make it easier for people to enjoy and share their music on the go including:

Artist Radio: Search for favorite bands and create custom artist stations that play music from those artists and others like them

MyMusic: People who have uploaded their personal music library to imeem.com can stream that music through their iPhone or iPod touch;
