LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Friday night, KIIS FM’S Jingle Ball Powered by LINE, staged its annual holiday concert with host Ryan Seacrest, KIIS FM’s on-air personality, and a lineup that included Taylor Swift, 5 Seconds of Summer, Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, Pharrell, Iggy Azalea, and Ed Sheeran.
Held at The Staples Center, the concert also featured Charli XCX, Jessie J, Becky G, Rixton, Rita Ora, Kiesza, Shawn Mendes and Nick Jonas. Gwen Stefani joined Pharrell for a surprise performance and Demi Lovato joined Nick Jonas for a special performance as well.
As well as the main event, organizers staged pre-event show earlier in the day at Jingle Ball Village. The show, which was free and open to the public, included performances Meghan Trainor, Becky G, Rixton, Shawn Mendes, Bea Miller, Syd Youth and the Macy’s Rising Star Winner, Before You Exit, followed by meet-and-greets.
The Dec. 5th event kicks off the iHeartRadio national Jingle Ball Tour, which will hit New York, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington D.C., Chicago, Miami and Tampa, with additional Jingle Ball concert events in Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta and Columbus.
$1.00 of each ticket sold will be donated to the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, which is dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives. – Staff Writers
