Kanye, Pharrell The Weeknd Among Performers For VMAs


LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Demi Lovato, The Weeknd, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Twenty One Pilots are all set to perform at the 2015 Video Music Awards this Sunday.

Featuring Miley Cyrus as a host, the awards ceremony will take place at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles and be broadcast live on MTV's global networks.

Taylor Swift leads the nominations for this year's awards with a total of 10, followed by Ed Sheeran, who has earned six nods. Kendrick Lamar, follows at third with four nominations for his video "Alright."

Kanye's performance at this year's ceremony is notable int hat it makes him the artists with the most VMA performances, stepping ahead of Madonna, who previously held the title. Kanye will also be the recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for 2015.
