SEATTLE (CelebrityAccess MediaWire) — After a two-year hiatus from the music industry devoting himself to opening an art gallery, painting and writing poetry, former agent Alex Kochan is now a promoter. Since March, Kochan has been in Seattle heading up Clear Channel Entertainment’s Bill Graham Presents NW office that covers Washington, Utah, Oregon, Montana and Alaska. He is booking the new White River Amphitheatre, which hosted a sold out Farm Aid on September 18.
"I'm bidding on my ex-clients," he told CelebrityAccess. "It's interesting being on the other side of the table. I undestand what an agent goes through and see it now as a promoter."
